Michele Drielick, RYT, KYT
Michele found yoga in 1993 while living in San Francisco, California as a means for dealing with life in the corporate world and her long struggle with infertility. In 2004 with the birth of her first child, Michele left corporate life to pursue a more holistic lifestyle which, along with her husband, led to the launch of Tree Frog Yoga in May, 2006. Having completed her Kripalu certification with Deva Parnell at Discovery Yoga (www.DiscoveryYoga.com), Michele is registered with the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association (KYTA) and the Yoga Alliance. Michele also received her Prenatal Yoga certification with Janice Clarfield. She shares her love for yoga by encouraging students to connect to their inner-voice and cultivate self respect from within. Michele’s classes highlight the benefits of yoga from the purely physical through the more subtle aspects of the mind/body connection while bringing a challenging, yet approachable style to her class. In addition, Michele received her Massage Therapy certification from the Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto, California in 1999.
Karen Cionci, RYT

Karen is a registered yoga teacher and has completed her 200 hour RYT with YogaFit®. Karen began practicing yoga with Lilias Folan on PBS as a 17 year old teenager in Southern New Jersey. That was way back in 1977! She started teaching group fitness and weight training for Holiday Spa (new Bally's). After getting married, having two boys and moving to Atlanta, GA and Annapolis, MD with her husband's company, yoga became her passion. She has been certified with YogaFit teacher training since 2001.

Karen teaches yoga with a fitness approach that also includes bringing together mind/body/balance. "Yoga can be a life-style to help keep the mind/body fit inside and out. It's breathing, feeling and listening to our bodies. Yoga helps us learn to be present in the moment and let go of judgement, competition and expections on and off the mat."

Sarah Gauta, RYT, KYT
Sarah turned to yoga in 1999 hoping to relieve chronic pain from past sports injuries. She soon came to value the practice for its physical and psychological benefits, embracing it as a lifestyle and gaining a new perspective on health after years of poor eating habits and struggles with weight. Today, pain-free and 40 lbs lighter, she credits yoga with helping her maintain a physical state of strength and awareness and with lighting the path to a more conscious and mindful experience of life.

Sarah is trained in the Kripalu tradition, having studied with Deva Parnell of Discovery Yoga Center, St. Augustine (www.DiscoveryYoga.com). Her classes offer a holistic approach to yoga by addressing the correct balance between challenge and ease, both physically and mentally. Alignment and breathwork are emphasized, as well as inward focus and spiritual attunement. Students are encouraged to listen to the wisdom of their own bodies and work according to the limits of their personal flexibility and strength. Sarah creates a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment in which students can truly enjoy and deepen their yoga practices.

She immediately fell in love with the practice and has been a devoted yogi ever since. In 2001, she began her teacher training at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City, one week before the tragic events of 9/11. The support of the yoga community was invaluable during this difficult time. More recently, Jennifer completed her 500 hour teacher training at Stillpoint Yoga Studio with Sara Devi and Vaz Rogbeck. Much warmth to everyone in our wonderful community!

She has practiced through two pregnancies and has welcomed two beautiful baby girls in to the world. Drawing from her background as a figure skater, she brings grace and power to the mat. She teaches her students to harmonize the body by using deep focus on the breath. Christine believes that “Yoga teaches us to honor our bodies. It gives us the freedom to cultivate equanimity, explore, and find inner peace.”

Christine would like to thank her wonderful children for the happiness and love they bring her everyday, and her teachers Sara Devi and Vaz Rogbeck for their guidance and wisdom.
